Our 1 Hour Express Ultra Dark Self Tan is a green based self tan. This is the most popular self tan base colour and it looks great on most skin types, giving it a natural tan finish. The only thing turning green is the bronzer, which is a temporary colour, this is what is washed off in the morning after you've allowed your tan to develop. The green tone is the initial colour guide application and not the final result. The colour base can be more apparent in lighter skin tones but will develop into a lovely golden bronze.

Can you leave the 1 Hour Express Ultra Dark on the skin for longer than 1 Hour?

While the 1 Hour Express Ultra Dark will provide a natural tint within just 1 hour. You can customise the 1 Hour Express Ultra Dark to suit your preferred shade of bronze. For a natural tan, rinse after 1 hour. For a deeper tan, leave on for 3 + hours. Your full tan results will continue to develop for 10 - 22+ hours post rinsing.

What is the best way to apply the 1 Hour Express Ultra Dark?

We recommend using the Bali Body Luxe Tanning Mitt to ensure a smooth, streak free self tan and minimal product wastage.

How long will the 1 Hour Express Self Tanning Foam last on my skin?

The 1 Hour Express Ultra Dark will last approximately 5-7 days when used in conjunction with daily application of a moisturising body lotion. Hydrated skin will ensure a longer lasting tan. We recommend using our Antixiodant Body Whip which has been formulated to assist in extending your self tan.

Can you use the Hour Express Ultra Dark on your face?

While the 1 Hour Express Ultra Dark contains nourishing oils making it extremely gentle to apply to the face, we recommend using any of our face self tanners for an even better result.

How many applications will I get from one bottle of 1 Hour Express Ultra Dark?

One bottle of the 1 Hour Express Ultra Dark will provide approximately 6-8 full body coats. Usage depends on each individuals application.

Is the 1 Hour Express Ultra Dark pregnancy safe?

Yes this product is safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, however we always recommend consulting with a healthcare professional if you have concerns.

How to guide

Our Express Ultra Dark can be washed off after 1 hour for an enhanced natural tint. For deeper results, leave on for 3+ hours. Once the colour guide has been rinsed, your tan will continue to develop for 10+ hours, leaving you with an ultra dark tan that will compliment your natural skin tone.

    Nice and dark

    It’s a good colour, love the olive dark it does not appear orange, It’s feels sticky and it’s hard to put on the skin on the right way sometimes it looks like it’s not smooth . Would be great to have this colour without stains and maybe a cream format so it’s not sticky and I could dress straight away.

    First time user of this brand particularly the Deep Violet Express Self Tan. I found this product very easy to apply, great colour, fast developing & great results. Very happy but I wish someone could come up with a formula that doesn’t have that terrible after odour!

    Natural glow

    Probably the best tan I have used, I am ghostly fair tried the first time for just over an hour was ok but even on pale fair skin wasn’t anything to brag about. Second time left for 2.5 hours and it was a beautiful sun-kissed glow. I have several brands of tan and this is my new favourite. Any rub off on clothing washes out, no tiger bread patches, only noticeable area of rub off was my neck, assuming due to perfume. Easily removed with body scrub and exfoliating mitt. I do wish it was a bit more moisturising but overall 10/10!
