Our Deep Violet Mousse is a violet based self tan. Violet bases are great for those who are craving a deep, olive tan. Violet counteracts yellow and orange undertones, allowing for a rich, chocolatey tan.
What is the difference between the Ultra Dark Mousse and the Deep Violet Mousse?
Our original Ultra Dark Mousse is a green based self tan. The green tone is the initial colour guide application and not the final result. The colour base can be more apparent in lighter skin tones but will develop into a lovely golden bronze. Green counteracts red undertones, allowing for a deep result. Our Deep Violet Mousse is a violet based self tan. Both offering deep results, the Violet Mousse offers a rich, olive pay-off.
How long do I leave the Deep Violet Mousse on for?
The Deep Violet Mousse can be left on the skin anywhere from 1 hour to 8 hours (overnight) depending on your preferred fake tan colour. The longer the product is left on the skin, the darker it will develop.
How many applications will I get from one bottle of Deep Violet Mousse?
One bottle of the Deep Violet Mousse will provide approximately 6-8 full body coats. Usage depends on each individual's application.

Yes, you can apply as many layers of Deep Violet self tanner as you like to reach your desired colour. An average of 1-3 layers are generally recommended per application.
What is the best way to apply the Deep Violet Mousse?
Best application for long-lasting results can be achieved by using a clean and dry tanning mitt. We recommend using our Luxe Tanning Mitt as it has been tried and tested with all of our self tanners for over 10 years. For areas that are more prone to ‘catch’ and hold self tanner, we recommend going in with a smaller more accurate tool such as our Blending Brush. This is a great tool if you wish to tan your ankles, feet, wrists and hands.
Can you use the Deep Violet Mousse self tanner on your face?
